AEB Open Event: Actuarial profession in Russia: A new approach

The AEB is pleased to invite you to participate in the Open Event, “Actuarial profession in Russia: A new approach”, organized by the Insurance and Pensions committee, in cooperation with the Russian Guild of actuaries. The event will be held on September 14th, 2010, in Moscow, at the AEB conference Room, Krasnoproletarskaya 16, bld 3, entrance 8, office 7, from 9:30 am till 1:00 pm (registration starts at 9: 00 am).

The event is targeted at the non actuarial audience of current and prospective users of actuarial services. The role of actuarial profession in both traditional (insurance and pensions) and non traditional (enterprise risk management, employer liabilities fort employees) fields will be presented by speakers in line with new legislation on actuarial activity in the Russian Federation. This law was adopted in the first hearing by the State Duma. Participants can discuss these issues during the roundtable. The Event will give an opportunity for financial enterprises to get information from stakeholders of the actuarial profession and be proactively prepared for the new legal requirements.

The working languages of the Event are English and Russian. Simultaneous translation will be provided.

AEB members’ participation for assigned representatives is free of charge;
Fee for additional representatives of AEB members is 3,000 RUR (VAT not applicable);
Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);
All payments are to be made by bank transfer. Once registration is closed, the fee is non-refundable.
