Briefing by Sergey Chemezov, General Director, State Corporation ROSTECHNOLOGII

This time around, the AEB is pleased to invite you to a B2B meeting with Sergey Chemezov, General Director of the State Corporation “Rosstechnologii”.

The event will be held on November 19^th, 2010, at the Renaissance Moscow Monarch, Leningradsky prospect, 31A, bld.1, Hall Georgievsky I and II, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon (registration starts from 10:30 am).

The Russian Technologies State Corporation is one of the biggest Russian state corporations designed to assist Russian producers of high technology industrial products in development, production and export by providing support within domestic and foreign markets and attracting investments to different industries including defense-industrial complex.

Sergey Chemezov was born in 1952, in the Irkutsk Region. He graduated cum laude from the Irkutsk Institute of National Economics, and went on to complete the Supreme Courses at the General Staff Military Academy of the Russian Federation Armed Forces. Mr. Chemezov started his career at the Irkutsk Research Institute of Rare and Nonferrous Metals. From 1996 to1999 he was Head of Foreign Economic Relations Department in Business and Property Administration for the RF President.

Since 2007, he has been the Head of the Bureau of the Russian Union of Machine-Builders. He parties a member of the managing body of several big companies – Oboronprom, AvtoVAZ, KamAZ, Sukhoi and others.

Mr. Chemezov was appointed Director General of the Rostekhnologii State Corporation for Assistance to Development, Production and Export of Advanced Technology Industrial Products in November, 2007.

Mr. Chemezov is an academician, a Professor, with a Doctorate in Economics and is a full member of the Academy of Military Sciences. He is also the author of over 120 publications.

Mr. Chemezov has been the recipient of several prestigious and highly coveted Russian orders. He is married, has three sons and a daughter. The working language is Russian. Interpretation into English will be provided.

Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);
