The Association of European Businesses is pleased to invite you to the AEB North-Western Regional Committee Meeting, titled “EU AND RUSSIA: NEW OPPORTUNITIES AND NEW CHALLENGES FOR DOING BUSINESS AND INVESTMENTS AFTER RUSSIA’S WTO ACCESSION”.

The meeting is taking place on the eve of the Europe Day in St. Petersburg on SEPTEMBER 21st, 2012 at the Sokos Hotel Palace Bridge, Birzhevoi pereulok 2–4, St. Petersburg.

After 18 years of negotiations Russia is finally going to become WTO member. Though the membership at the WTO will possibly have several positive effects on Russia’s economy, it still remains controversial. The AEB North-Western Regional Committee Meeting will provide a platform for discussion of what does the WTO accession for Russia means and what new opportunities does it offer for conducting business in Russia and abroad.

A representative from the Delegation of the European Union to the Russian Federation, as well as the Moscow leading AEB experts will take part in the sub-committees thematic Round tables (Legal & Tax sub-committee, HR & Migration sub-committee and Customs & Transport sub-committee, Moscow based PR & Communications Committee ).

The working language of the meeting is English.

Attendance Fees

One representative from AEB member company - free of charge

Fee for each additional representative of AEB members - 2,500 RUR (+18%VAT)

Fee for representatives of non-member companies - 3,500 RUR (+18%VAT)
