AEB Finance & Investments Committee Open Event: Briefing with Boris Titov, Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights Protection

The AEB is proud to announce a briefing by the newly appointed Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights Protection Boris Titov.

During the St. Petersburg Forum in June 2012 President Putin made an important keynote speech during which one of his key announcements was the establishment of a new post of Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights. This appointment was seen as one of the key elements of his plan to improve the investment climate in Russia.

The Finance and Investment Committee of the AEB is delighted to invite you to this terrific opportunity to hear plans for this important initiative directly from the Commissioner himself. It will also give you an opportunity to air your thoughts on key investment issues. A unique opportunity not to be missed by all those interested in the development of the investment climate in Russia.

The event will take place on Wednesday, September 12^th, 2012, at Swissôtel Conference Centre (Kosmodamianskaya Emb., 52, bld. 7), from 15:00 to 16:30 (registration starts at 14:30).

To ensure that the meeting is conducted in a constructive manner, covering all topics of interest, Mr. Titov expects a list of questions to be sent in advance. Therefore, we would like to kindly ask you to submit your questions by September 5^th to the AEB Committees Coordinator Elena Kuznetsova (ek@aebrus.ru).

The working languages of the meeting are Russian and English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.

Attendance fees

AEB members’ participation for assigned representatives is free of charge;

Fee for additional representatives of AEB members is 3000 RUR (VAT not applicable)

Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable)

All payments are to be made by bank transfer. Once registration is closed the fee is non-refundable

Boris Titov was born in 1960. In 1983 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and started his professional career in “Soyuznefteexport”. Run a number of companies Russian and joint enterprises. In 2004 Mr. Titov became the President of "Delovaya Rossiya". From 2006 to 2009 was a Member of the Public Chamber of Russia. President of the Union of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia. In 2008 he was awarded the first class of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland. In June 2012 Mr. Titov was appointed by the RF President’s Decree for the position of the Presidential Commissioner for Entrepreneurs’ Rights Protection.
