The AEB open meeting entitled “Changes to Migration Legislation – First Results”, organised by the AEB Visa Task Force was held from 9:30 to 11:30 (registration from 9:00), on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at the Lithuanian Cultural Centre, Povarskaya St. 24, Moscow.

The meeting was featured Mr. S.Salapat (Head of Labour Migration Department, UFMS for the city of Moscow) and Mr. M.Antoshin (Head of Visa and Registration Section, UFMS for the city of Moscow) who addressed the issues of delivery of permits to foreign citizens whose entery into Russia requires a visa and those who enter Russia under the visa-free regime, as well as practical aspects related to notification as a new registration procedure.

AEB members had an opportunity to participate in a question and answer session.
