Part IV of the RF Civil Code: Legal and Tax Aspects

We would like to invite you to an Open Event on Part IV of the RF Civil Code: Legal and Tax Aspects, organised with the participation of the Ministry of Finance and Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademark (ROSPATENT), which will take place on April 3, 2008, from 09:00-13.00 (registration from 08:30), at the PwC premises, Kosmodamianskaya Nab., 52, bld. 5, Conference Room 923.

Part IV of the Civil Code, which came into effect at the beginning of this year, regulates intellectual property rights. Although widely welcomed as a landmark law in Russia, there still exists some controversy about certain aspects of the legislation.

At the AEB event, presentations will be given by representatives of the top firms in the field of the taxation and intellectual property in Russia. After each presentation members of the audience will get their chance to put questions to the speakers. The working languages of the conference are English and Russian. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
