The AEB HR workshop “Success in Succession” took place in Moscow on June 21, 2006 at the Baltschug Kempinski Hotel (Yaroslavl Hall).
This was a full-day workshop arranged by the Assessment, Training and Development Subcommittee that focused on various issues of succession planning in Russia.
Succession planning is an on-going process. When you have it right, it will allow your organisation to identify, assess, develop and sustain continuous talent supply to meet future demands. The workshop covered lessons learned in succession planning and specifically the topics of role/job profiles and the link to succession planning, high potential selection, talent pool as a system and typical mistakes in succession planning.
Group discussions were moderated by Mirka Straathof, Hay Group; Pavel Bezruchko, Ecopsy; Svetlana Simonenko, Detech; and Tatyana Khvatinina, SHL.
