AEB Open event: Briefing by Peter Tabak, Associate Director, Lead Regional Economist, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

The AEB is pleased to invite you to a briefing by Peter Tabak, Associate Director, Lead Regional Economist, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Resident, “Russian Economic Developments under Persistently Low Oil Prices”.

The event will be held on January 25-th, 2016, at the AEB Conference Hall (Krasnoproletarskaya ul., 16, bld.3, entrance 8, floor 4, office 7) from 9:30 to 11:00 (registration will start at 9:00 am).

The AEB is happy to invite you to a meeting with Peter Tabak, Associate Director, Lead Regional Economist, EBRD. Igor Bulantsev, the AEB Banking Committee Chairman from Nordea Bank & Frank Schauff, AEB CEO, will moderate this event and assist Peter in delivering his brief to all those who will be present.

Peter Tabak is Lead Regional Economist for Croatia, Serbia and Russia at the Country and Sector Economics at EBRD. Before taking up his present role, he worked on financial market development within the EBRD’s Local Currency and Capital Markets Initiative. Earlier he was Head of Financial Stability at the National Bank of Hungary, being responsible for macroprudential regulation and analysis of the Hungarian financial system, including stress testing of banks. Peter also worked in senior economic policy roles at the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Finance in Hungary.

A Hungarian national, Peter graduated from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences in Finance and Economic Theory. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD, France.

Fee for the AEB additional members is 3,500 RUB (+18% VAT);

Fee for non AEB Members.is 7,000 RUB (+18% VAT)

All payments are to be made by bank transfer. Once registration is closed, the fee is non-refundable.
