Key legal initiatives in real estate

The AEB Real Estate Committee is pleased to invite you to its webinar “Key legal initiatives in real estate”.

The event will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, from 15:00 to 16:30 via Zoom.

The middle of the year of 2022, which has been so complicated and eventful, including in the field of lawmaking, is approaching; the spring session of the State Duma is coming to an end. And the experts of the AEB Real Estate Committee are ready to share their thoughts on the significant legislative initiatives of the industry.

Anton Alekseev of Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners will talk about the essence and possible consequences of the key "non-crisis" legislative initiatives - such as the draft law by Rosreestr on changing the concept of real estate, the draft law on cottage settlements by the Ministry of Construction of Russia, and the status and prospects of the bill on apartments.

And lawyers from "DRT Consulting" Konstantin Fisunov and Karina Kuzmina will review the current court practice in the real estate and construction, including on the amount of penalties, joint and several liability, warranty periods under subcontracts, as well as consider the results of disputes on land lease contracts relating to the use of land not for its intended purpose, changing the permitted use and the calculation of rents.

As usual, at the end of the webinar the participants will have an opportunity to ask the speakers their questions.
