The AEB Modernisation & Innovations Working Group is pleased to invite you to its open meeting entitled ”Logistics innovations and their impact on E-commerce market. Supply chain resilience risks and the consequences for various industries”, organized in partnership with Graduate School of Business, HSE University. The meeting will be held online on Friday, 25 June, 2021, from 10:00 till 11:30.
The meeting will be moderated by Michael Akim, AEB Board Member, Chairman of the AEB Modernisation & Innovation Working Group; Associated Partner, Vitus Bering Management Ltd.; Professor of Graduate School of Business, HSE University.
The agenda of the meeting will be focused on the following sub-topics:
- How virtual technologies (virtual twins, integrated virtual planning) disrupt traditional logistics and planning and increase efficiency;
- The acceleration of E-Commerce due to COVID-19 pandemic;
- OZON’s listing of NASDAQ as driver of company value;
- Improvements in logistics infrastructure with a focus on last mile delivery;
- US-China tech war: semiconductor supply chain risks;
- US lack of semiconductor production as national security risk and economic security risk;
- China’s plans on investing in semiconductor industry to strengthen its supply chain;
- President Baiden’s executive order for a comprehensive review of critical US supply chains;
- Impact of semiconductor shortage crisis on various industries in the EU and Russia.
The discussion with the HSE University experts will be closing the meeting.
