The AEB SME Committee is pleased to invite you to its webinar entitled "SME fundamental challenges and support measures in view of the COVID-19 outbreak", which will be held on April 16th, 2020 at 14:00-16:00.
The COVID-19 crisis heavily affects small and medium-sized businesses. Most EU countries have taken some measures to protect the SME sector from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The most widely used is the deferral or reduction of tax and social security contributions and earlier repayments of tax refunds, but the exact application of these measures varies.
Taking into consideration the current economic developments in Russia and the necessity to provide additional support to the most vulnerable economic sectors including SME, the Russian Federation Government has also elaborated a number of support measures for SMEs.
The webinar "SME fundamental challenges and support measures in view of the COVID-19 outbreak" will provide a platform for discussion of the following issues:
- legal implications for SME caused by COVID-19 outbreak;
- labour law key issues for SMEs in the period of coronavirus pandemic;
- consequences for small and medium enterprises across Europe and European practices in SME support measures implementation;
- SME support measures elaborated by the RF Government;
- crisis mindset: how to manage to survive and thrive during the COVID-19 crisis
The event will be moderated by Andreas Bitzi, Chairman of the AEB SME Committee, Deputy Chairman of the AEB North-Western Regional Committee, Managing Director, quality partners.
