Open Meeting with Georgy Bovt, Historian, Political Scientist, Journalist

The Association of European Businesses is pleased to invite you to its open meeting with Georgy Bovt, historian, political scientist, journalist.

Th event will be held on January 14, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:30 at the AEB Conference Center (Butyrsky Val 68/70 p.1 office 13).

Georgy Bovt is a well-known Russian historian, journalist and political scientist. He was born in Moscow and graduated from the Faculty of History at Lomonosov Moscow State University and Columbia University in New York with a degree in International Relations. In 1986 he defended his PhD thesis. He was a member of the Growth Party Council.

Since 1992, he has worked for Kommersant, the newspaper Segodnya, and then as editor-in-chief of Izvestia. From 2004 to 2007, he was Editor-in-Chief of the Rodionov Publishing House group of business magazines and Editor-in-Chief of Profil magazine. Later he hosted programs on City-FM radio.

Since 2022 he has been providing political commentary on the radio station.
