The AEB Modernisation & Innovations Working Group is pleased to invite you to its open meeting entitled ”SPIC 2.0 confirmed status and what does it mean for investors”, which will be held online on September 17th, 2020, from 10:00 till 12:00.
The Decree No. 1048 of the Government of the Russian Federation, dated July 16th, 2020, approved the main rules for the conclusion, amendment and termination of special investment contracts and formed the legal framework for launching SPIC 2.0 mechanism. The new mechanism aimed at implementing investment projects in creation or modernization of manufacturing facilities, was completely updated.
The meeting ”SPIC 2.0 confirmed status and what does it mean for investors” is called to provide a detailed analysis of the SPIC 2.0 regulatory framework. The discussion will be focused on the following key aspects related to the implementation of the updated mechanism:
- key conditions and rules for concluding SPICs;
- new opportunities for businesses;
- practical issues and hidden challenges;
- benefits and risks for investors
