Nine years ago we have launched a new format event “Talks on the Russian Economy” inviting widely known and recognised experts, Russians and foreigners, for discussing the most burning and vital issues for the development of the Russian economy, proposing fine and deep analysis and hopefully offering some solutions.
We are pleased to invite you to the ninth round of these talks which will be devoted to macroeconomic scenarios and forecasts.
The event will take place on February 17th, 2023, from 11:00 to 13:00, via zoom.
The participants of this event round are well known and highly appreciated by the AEB memebers and considered as ones of the best analysts among business community experts:
Artem Arkhipov, Chief Economist, AO UniCredit Bank (invited). He will speak about Russian macroeconomic outlook;
Jacques Sapir, Director of studies at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris / Head of the Centre d’Étude des Modes d’Industrialisation (CEMI-EHESS). He will share with us his views on EU-Russia trade relations;
Sergey Drobyshevsky, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Scientific Director, The Ye.T. Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy (The Gaidar Institute). He will cover issues related to monetary policy in the new reality and interrelation of budgetary and monetary policy.
The event will be chaired by Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO.
The working languages of the meeting are Russian and English. Interpretation will be provided
