The discussion in the session addressed the following key topics:

● government approaches in the EU Member States and Russia and the unity of tasks related to climate change;

● opportunities for cooperation within the European Green Deal call under the EU’s Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020;

● use of technology by large international corporations within CSR programs developing, contributing for SDGs and economic problem solving;

● role of science in forcing industry to accelerate the move toward reducing greenhouse gas emissions;

● forest restoration as air pollution compensation.
