Annual Migration Conference on current issues of migration legislation application in the Russian Federation

On 18 February 2016, the AEB Migration Committee held its annual conference dedicated to the application of migration legislation in the Russian Federation.


The event highlighted a whole range of issues: the latest developments in migration legislation, the work of patent-holders in Russia, contradictions between migration legislation and the Labour Code, allocation of quotas for the employment of young people and people with disabilities, obtaining Russian residence and citizenship, and existing court practice. Experts from leading companies such as EY, KPMG, BEITEN BURKHADRT, Mercedes Benz Russia, Visa Delight and Orrick spoke at the event.

Dmitry Demidenko, Head of the Department for the organisation of visas and permits, FMS Russia, and Igor Dudnik, Head of the Department for labour migration, UFMS Russia, Moscow, were distinguished guests of the event. They answered audience questions and provided recommendations.
