On April 28, 2015 the SHES Committee held a round table: “HSE: Risks assessment and management”. The speakers, Sergey Ryabov, General Director of the Centre for Mining Safety, and Denis Smirnov, expert at the Centre for Mining Safety, gave presentations on the main risk assessment and management techniques for both production processes and individuals, and shared their experience of using HAZID/ENVID studies for risk assessment.
