The AEB is pleased to invite you to a Round Table - “Incineration? Landfill? Or being buried under Waste? Ecological Technologies in Domestic and Industrial Waste Utilization in Moscow”, organized by the AEB Machine Building & Engineering Committee, April 3d, 2009, Novotel Moscow Centre, hall Paris, from 9:30 am to 12:00 am (registration starts from 9:00 am).
The AEB Machine Building & Engineering Committee has courageously decided to devote its second open event to a really burning issue – waste in the modern city and its treatment. Courageously not only because of the unforgettable scenes of real horror – the strike of garbage workers in Naples – but because this problem touches all spheres of our life and we urgently need the innovative ecological technologies of waste disposal. These technologies will allow the earth to simply breathe and prevent the adverse effects of waste on human health and the environment. It’s already clear now that if appropriate measures are not taken now, somewhere in 2012, the Naples tragedy will be walk in the park in comparison to the problem that will be faced by Moscow’s residents.
One of the main speakers is Professor Adam Gonopolsky, Doctor of Engineering Science, a well known and respected expert in the ecological problems, currently also working with the RF State Duma. His presentation will be completed and developed by representatives of the industry directly involved in the reconstruction and implementation of the incineration plants in Moscow. The Round Table will be concluded with EMAlliance’s presentation, which will discuss the innovation technologies of the waste disposal.
