Developing E-marketplace in Russia

The AEB is pleased to invite you to a Round Table “Problems of developing E-marketplace in Russia», organized by the AEB IT-Telecom Committee. The event will take place on December 2^nd, 2009 at the AEB premises, Conference Room, Krasnoproletarskaya, 16, bld.3, entrance 8, floor 4, office 7, from 9:00 am to 11:30 pm (registration starts from 8:30 am).

Fast-moving development of e-commerce, expansion in the number of companies involved into this business area and lack of relevant legal regulation are the main reasons which allow considering announced topic to be of particular importance in the Russian Federation today. The Round Table, “Problems of Developing E-marketplace in Russia”, will deal with the main practical and legal issues of operating an e-marketplace as well as with practical and legal issues which should be taken into consideration by companies using E-market place for buying and selling goods.

Furthermore, the prospects for developing legislation in E-commerce will be discussed. Among speakers – Ilya Ponomarev,  representative of the RF Duma Committee for Information Policy, IT and Communication who is directly involved into drafting of the law "On E-commerce".

We believe that this event will be interesting both for those extensively involved into e-commerce and those only considering the possibility of joining this area of business.

Working Language is Russian although Power Point presentations will also be available in English. Interpretation will be available only upon request.

Attendance Fees

AEB members’ participation for assigned representatives is free of charge;

Fee for additional representatives of AEB members is 3,000 RUR (VAT not applicable);

Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);
