CFO Business Breakfast

The Finance and Investments Committee of the Association of European Businesses in the Russian Federation is pleased to announce the first CFO Business Breakfast, scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at 9:00-10:30 AM (registration at 8:30), at Hotel Marriott Royal Aurora, Petrovka str. 11/20, Moscow.

The CFO Business Breakfasts are quarterly “by invitation only” executive breakfast meetings addressing leadership and strategic management issues in Russia. Business Breakfasts provide access to the most prominent businessmen and Russian authorities allowing executives to ask questions and share insights and resources on strategic business issues. Although business discussions are encouraged, such meetings are not a sales or marketing platform. During such breakfast meetings executives get the opportunity to network in person and explore collaboration and business opportunities with other club members.

The meetings are designed as a small, informal gathering, providing an open and confidential forum to freely exchange information with like-minded peers. Future topics may cover macro-economics, tax issues, customs clearance, migration, licencing, employee compensation, etc.

Participation in CFO Business Breakfasts is limited to senior level executives.

Practical implications for companies of proposed transfer pricing changes:

- Reporting and documentions

- Risk, internal controls and procedures

- IT systems and accounting

- Practical approaches and and experience in other jurisdictions

 The meeting will feature Mr. Stephan Beck, Tax Partner, Head of International Tax Services for Russia and CIS, Ernst & Young (CIS) BV Branch Moscow.
