Business Against AIDS Roundtable

The Business Against AIDS Roundtable is a first ever meeting of European companies operating in Russia to discuss what makes HIV/AIDS to be not only a medical issue but a business challenge in this country. Dozens of international and Russian companies have already joined the fight against the epidemic to safeguard their employees from potential risks and enhance the sustainability of their businesses in the country with the highest number of HIV-positive people among European countries and with the highest growth rate of new epidemic cases among young working population.

Roundtable presentations will focus around the following scopes:

- HIV/AIDS situation in Russia,

- HIV as a business issue;

- Existing best practices of corporate response to HIV/AIDS in Russia;

- Government response to the epidemic;

- Russian National Association Business Against AIDS

- HEALTH@WORK – a Comprehensive Workplace Prevention Program against HIV/AIDS, Alcohol and Drug Abuse; the program reveals the concept of employees’ physical and mental health as a perquisite for corporate sustainability and success of business operations.
