Mr. Izosimov has served as CEO of VimpelCom since October 2003. Prior to that he worked for McKinsey & Co in Stockholm and London for five years, where he focused on sales and marketing issues as well as cost optimisation. Building on this early background in finance and sales, Mr. Izosimov joined Mars, Inc in 1996 and was general manager for Russia and the CIS until 2001. From 2001 until 2003 Mr. Izosimov was as a member of the Global Executive Management Board and Regional President for the CIS, Central Europe and Nordics for Mars, Inc., responsible for more than 20 markets in the region, including Russia and the CIS. In 2004 A.Izosimov took the first place in the rating of most highly professional Russian managers.

This was an excellent opportunity to meet one of the most prominent Russian businessmen and to learn first hand about the “Bee flight”!
