Nowadays companies are more and more often in search of commercial real estate facilities (warehouses, production facilities, offices) that are "tailored" to the needs of the company, allowing the implementation of all necessary processes and the optimal allocation of people and capacities. In this regard, there is a growing Build-To-Suit (BTS) market in Russia, which means constructing a facility to be sold or rented out to the customer.
Members of the AEB Real Estate Committee and the AIP Industrial Construction Committee have been involved in a large number of BTS deals and, based on their experience, will be happy to tell you about the key practical aspects of such a deal and advise on how to avoid widespread mistakes.
At the joint webinar expert speakers will give an overview of current trends in BTS industrial real estate in Russia, assess the benefits of built-to-suit format from an investor and developer perspective, talk about basic principles as well as legal and technical details of site selection and deal closing. The audience will learn what needs to be done even before the contract is signed, how to correctly form the technical specifications, what requirements to the object should be included in the contract and what needs to be controlled during the project's implementation.
