The COVID-19 has pushed all kind of businesses into digital networking. The technological apps are in high demand. According UNCTAD, digital technologies are mainstreamed into national development plans and development partners’ cooperation frameworks. As a whole online platforms help us to be integrated in the infrastructure of social engineering.
At the same time cyberspace elements (such as infrastructure, data, resource, user and operation) are quite vulnerable today. While social interaction is a tool to attack social engineering the companies’ cyberspace security is in danger. Social engineering is being interfered by social interaction to bypass or break through security barriers, without having to combat with firewall or antivirus software by deep coding. Even a telephone call or WhatsApp message could damage company’s security system.
Our experts will address the key issues in modern social engineering and the most common fraudulent schemes against people in day-to-day life and share some practical tips and recommendations.
