The AEB is glad to invite you to an open event organized jointly by AEB IT & Telecom Committee, Compliance & Ethics Committee and Labour Law Sub-Committee (of the Human Resources Committee) "PERSONAL DATA 2024: IN SEARCH OF BALANCE".
The event will take place on November 07, 2024 from 10:00 to 12:00 in the AEB Conference Center.
In today's world, where the volume of information is growing every day, the protection of personal data is becoming one of the key challenges for both companies and individuals. Mishandling personal information can lead to serious consequences, including financial losses, loss of reputation and legal sanctions.
At our event we will discuss:
- How to establish work with personal data within a company;
- Trends in Russian personal data regulation and enforcement approaches in 2024;
- Recent trends in the risk-based approach: grounds for processing, alternatives to consent, contractual regulation of personal data processing and liability issues;
- Extraterritorial application of the law on personal data: practical difficulties.
Participation in this event will allow you to obtain relevant knowledge and skills necessary for effective work in the context of modern challenges related to the processing and protection of personal data.
The event will also provide a platform for discussion of the most pressing issues and questions businesses have, which AEB will then address to the regulators.
Working language is Russian. English interpretation will not be provided.
