On October 20, the AEB Green Initiative Committee, Carbon Management Workstream, held the open event “Climate laws and Energy Transition: From Concepts to Projects”. 

The AEB Green Initiative experts, together with external speakers, including Carbon Zero and Kontur JSC – operators of green certificates and carbon credits registries, discussed the relevant regulatory and market developments, while Astra Zeneca and Unilever shared their latest practices and further plans in supporting sustainable development trend.

Participants confirmed that the green agenda is still in priority and businesses operating in Russia are advancing their decarbonization efforts and developing new tools, including carbon footprint calculator.

  

The next meeting of the Carbon Management Workstream will focus on assessing the green transport infrastructure and identifying new opportunities in this area.
