Information Society Strategy in the Russian Federation: Quality & Efficiency of State Services

The AEB is pleased to invite you to a Round Table "Information Society Strategy in the Russian Federation: Quality & Efficiency of State Services", organized by the AEB IT-Telecom Committee. The event will take place on October 21, 2009 at the Hotel “Katerina”, hall “Nobel”, Moscow, Shluzovaya nab., 6,bld.1, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (registration starts from 9:30 am).

This Round Table is a concrete continuation of the AEB cooperation with the Ministry of Telecom & Mass Communications, following the June 2009 briefing by Minister Igor Shegolev.

Quality and Efficiency of the State Services is high on the RF Government Agenda nowadays, particularly, in the sphere of Information Technologies, which is one of the key factors for a modernization of Russia’s economy. That’s why we hope that the proposed topic will attract a great number of our AEB member-companies.

During the Round Table, the following topics will be tackled:

1)       Single-window concept, cross-authorities interaction for state & public services aimed at citizens.

2)       Citizen-centric approaches, tools, solutions to improve interaction, cooperation between citizens and Government, to increase citizens’ loyalty and confidence in the Government, to create transparency and visibility on all state authorities’ levels.

Among speakers - a leading expert of the Department of the State Police in Information and IT; Vladimir Laguna, Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications, as well as Alexander Bajenov, Director, PPP Centre, Vnesheconombank.

The working languages are Russian and English. Translation will be available upon request.

Attendance Fees

AEB members’ participation for assigned representatives is free of charge;

Fee for additional representatives of AEB members is 3,000 RUR (VAT not applicable);

Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);

All payments are to be made by bank transfer. Once registration is closed, the fee is non-refundable.
