The AEB Energy Committee is pleased to invite you to the briefing by Thane Gustafson “The Coming Challenges and Opportunities for Russian Oil”.

The Russian oil industry – the world’s largest producer and exporter, providing nearly 12 percent of the global supply - is facing mounting problems that could send shock waves through the Russian economy and worldwide. You will have an exceptional chance to meet one of the best consultants and analysts of the politics of energy in Russia, Doctor Thane Gustafson, Professor of Government at Georgetown University and Senior Director of IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates. Russia’s oil industry, politics and economy, their complex and fraught relationship will be in the center of his presentation.
The working language of the meeting is English. The Russian translation will not be provided.
