The AEB is pleased to invite you to the second annual conference devoted to accounting and finance entitled “The Finance Function of Tomorrow: Strategy, Technology, People”.
The event will take place on September 22, 2026, from 14:00 to 18:00 at the AEB Conference Center (Butyrsky Val St. 68/70 b.1, 1st floor, office 13). Registration starts at 13.30.
In 2026, the accounting function is undergoing a profound transformation. No longer confined to transactional processing and compliance, it is rapidly evolving into a strategic business partner, driven by digital innovation and powered by skilled, adaptable talent. This conference brings together leading experts, practitioners, and solution providers to explore the three critical pillars shaping the future of accounting:
Strategy. From cost-saving to competitive advantage. How are outsourcing models, shared services, and finance operating models evolving? What does it take for the accounting function to move from operational support to true strategic partnership?
Technology. Automation, AI, electronic document flow, process mining, task mining — which technologies are delivering real ROI today? How can accounting teams leverage digital tools to optimize costs, improve accuracy, and free up capacity for high-value work?
People. The talent landscape is shifting. What are the key trends in the Russian accounting labour market for 2026–2027? How do you build, retain, and develop a future-ready accounting team? What new skills will be required — and where do you find them?
The working language of the event is Russian. Interpretation into English will be provided upon request.
