The AEB is pleased to invite you to its open event ”EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Sharing Best Practices”, organized jointly by the Compliance & Ethics, HR, and IT & Telecom Committees.

The event will take place on Friday, 05 October 2018, from 09:30 to 12:30 (registration starts at 09:00) at the at the AEB Conference Centre (Moscow, 68/70 Butyrsky Val, bld. 1, ground floor, office 13).

Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the European Union’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), governs the processing of personal data by any EU party. It also addresses the transfer of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas. The GDPR aims primarily to materially enhance the control by citizens and residents over their personal data and at the same time - to simplify the regulatory environment for international business.

The meeting will be co-moderated by Julia Borozdna, Chairperson of the AEB Labour Law Sub-Committee, Partner, Head of Employment and Migration Law Practice, Pepeliaev Group and Alexey Muntyan, Personal Data Protection & IT Security Officer, DHL Express.

The working languages of the event are Russian and English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

Attendance fees:

AEB assigned members’ participation is free of charge;

Fee for AEB additional members is 3,850 RUB (+18% VAT);

Fee for representatives of non-member companies is 7,700 RUB (+18% VAT).
