“Technical Regulation and Conformity Assessment in the EAEU and the EU: Prospects for Approximation”

On 8 November 2016, the AEB Product Conformity Assessment Committee held its Conference titled “Technical Regulation and Conformity Assessment in the EAEU and the EU: Prospects for Approximation”.
The event was opened by Frank Schauff, AEB CEO, and moderated by Alexej Soldatow, Chairman of the AEB Product Conformity Assessment Committee, Technical Regulation Manager, BSH Bytowije Pribory. The key issues of the discussion were product conformity assessment, market surveillance, accreditation, safety and energy efficiency aspects, practical application of the technical regulations of the Customs Union and the EAEU, technical barriers, and its comparison to similar regulation of EU.
