Objectives

The Construction Equipment Committee (CEC) was established by the AEB in February 2008.
The Committee aims to provide a forum for the industry to discuss subjects of common interest, and to act as a single body on common issues in the Russian Federation.

SALES OF NEW CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

Action Plan

The activities of the Committee are the following:

Provision of statistics on machine sales to customers throughout Russia and Kazakhstan on the regional level. Although other trade bodies also offer their own data, these do not detail sales by geographical region or industry.
Intensification of cooperation and establishing strong communication channels with the official bodies of the Russian Federation on the following questions:

Technical standards and safety legislation.
Discussion and joint action regarding import duties, customs issues and the disposal fee.
Discussion of localisation issues.

The Construction Equipment Committee is a member of CECE.
