The AEB is pleased to invite you to a Round Table, “How to put down IT costs under current situation”, organized by the AEB IT-Telecom Committee, April 14^th, 2009, AEB Conference room (Ul. Krasnoproletarskaya 16, building 3, entrance 8, 4th floor), from 09:30 am to 11:30 am (registration starts from 9:00 am).

Information Technologies and Communications systems are today, more or less, a part of the business of any successful company. In view of the current situation, every company is facing a difficult choice: on one side, the implementation of modern ITC systems is the most important means of raising the business efficiency and labour productivity. On the other – IT costs are a significant part of non-production costs. If you don’t implement modern technologies, it may irremediably harm your business; but under the current economic conditions, IT costs should be more efficient and carefully thought out.

In the discussion framework of our Round Table is a proposal that ways in which business and economy as a whole should continue in order to make IT investments more profitable be intimately addressed. What sections of this system can be left out and which should be kept? What new approaches proposed by experts allow one to keep the quality of IT services while at the same time maintaining and if possible, diminishing cost? How to make IT costs more transparent? What to do with costly IT staff? What are the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats of IT-outsourcing? Valentin Makarov, RUSSOFT President, will brief the AEB members on this issue, in company of speakers from one of the most active member company of the IT-telecom Committee - IBS’ Dmitry Ivitsky and Vitaly Vereshchagin. Get ready for a very stimulating intellectual exercise!

AEB members’ participation for assigned representatives is free of charge;

Fee for additional representatives of AEB members is 3,000 RUR (VAT not applicable);

Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);
