12.09.2024 The AEB GR Academy starts on October 10
Government Relations (GR) is becoming increasingly omnipresent, evolving rapidly and gaining both expertise and demand. The recent launch event of the AEB GR Academy - "GR is Everywhere: Time to Change Gear" - was attended by over 100 AEB members and guests, reinforcing our belief that GR expertise and training are both relevant and timely.  The AEB GR Academy will officially open its doors on October 10, 2024. On July 19, 2024, the AEB Taxation Committee held the summer tax conference “Modernization of the Russian Tax System: Key Points for Business”. The conference gave the audience an overview of upcoming amendments within the Russian tax system fine-tuning and changes in transfer pricing legislation, as well as issues related to cross-border transactions and intra-group operations, trends in law enforcement and tax control practice, and others.  More

On July 18, 2024, AEB Director of External Relations, Svetlana Lomidze was decorated with the award “For cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs”. The award which is given by decision of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in recognition of significant contributions to the development of bilateral cooperation, was handed over by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Grushko.
