Belarus to close exit from the country because of the coronavirus on December 20

10.12.2020

Starting from December 20, Belarus will suspend the exit of citizens from the country through the land crossing points, reported in the decision of the Council of Ministers.

The document also changes the order of entry to Belarus for foreigners. They will have to bear a certificate of negative test for COVID-19 from December 20. PCR test must be made at least three days before the planned border crossing. In the absence of a certificate, entry will be denied. As noted by TASS, the decree states that no restrictions on entry are imposed, but those arriving in the country are required to stay in self-isolation for 10 days.
