Cancelation of quarantine for COVID-19 patient contact persons and discharge of COVID-19 patients

07.02.2022

Starting February 6, 2022, the need to comply with the self-isolation regime is to be abolished for people who have been in contact with COVID-19 patients, states Rospotrebnadzor Decree №4, dated February 4, 2022.

Also, COVID-19 patients will not need to have a repeat test for discharge if treatment has lasted seven days or more. A negative test will be necessary if the treatment period is shorter. In this case, the patient will be discharged if the result is received no earlier than three days after a positive test.
