Clarification by Rospotrebnadzor re: vaccination of employees

The Decree No. 1 of the Chief Sanitary Officer of Moscow dated 15.06.2021 on mandatory vaccination of employees raised a lot of questions among the AEB members, and the AEB decided to address the Moscow authorities re: clarification of the following questions:

• which organizations are subject to the mandatory vaccination

• how to calculate the 60% share of employees that need to be vaccinated

• how to correctly organize the vaccination process

• what the employer should do in case of refusal by an employee to be vaccinated

• when the employee can/needs to be temporarily suspended from work

Moscow Office of Rospotrebnadzor responded to some of the questions sent by the AEB referring to the recent clarifications of the Operational Staff. In particular, it was clarified that the industries covered by the Decree should be determined based on the epidemiological situation as well as the level of contacts with the customer and not by OKVED code.
