Governor of the Leningrad Region prolonged the COVID-19 related restrictions until 14 June

On 29 May 2020, the Governor of the Leningrad Region signed Decree No. 347, according to which from June 1 to June 14 restrictive measures with division by zones are preserved (yet, a transition of the Tikhvin district from the second (“yellow”) zone to the third (“green”) zone is foreseen). Below are some highlights of the new Decree: 

1. The ban on trade in perfumes and cosmetics in the first (“red”) zone remains. Masks when visiting shopping facilities are required in all areas.

2. In the first and second zones it is permitted to sell not only food products at fairs, but also products of folk-art crafts and crafts, seedlings of trees and shrubs, seedlings of flower crops and vegetables. In the third zone, the activities of fairs are still allowed without restrictions in assortment.

3. From June 1, in the first zone, the activities of organizations of additional education are allowed exclusively in terms of conducting individual classes with the obligatory use of masks, in the second pair classes are allowed, in the third - groups of up to 12 people.

4. Outdoor sports are allowed in the "red zone" in terms of individual (pair) training, in the "yellow" zone - group training for up to 15 people, in the "green" - up to 30 people. The use of locker rooms is prohibited throughout the region.

5. Regarding the work of beauty salons and catering enterprises, all previously existing restrictions are maintained.

6. The work of multifunctional centers (MFCs) of the Leningrad region will also be changed. In the first and second zones, the MFCs will continue to receive visitors by appointment and with a limited list of services. In the third zone, “My Documents” centers will provide a full list of services, but also by appointment. The use of masks is mandatory in the MFC of all areas.
