Hungary allows Russians to enter the country with a vaccination certificate

27.07.2021

Starting July 27, 2021, the Government of Hungary has allowed Russian citizens who have a vaccination certificate against Covid-19 to enter the country, the website of the Hungarian Embassy in Moscow reports.

Russian citizens may enter Hungary without epidemiological restrictions (without quarantine and PCR tests) if they have a valid Schengen visa and a vaccination certificate.

Visa applications can be submitted at VFS Global visa centers by making an appointment in advance. Visa applications are processed in accordance with Schengen Agreement rules. In addition to the usual supporting documents, vaccination certificates should be attached to the applications. Samples of the accepted certificates will be published by the Embassy shortly.
