Introduction of new restrictions provokes a decline in consumer demand

Against the background of the introduction of new restrictions, the Russians, as in the spring, are again going into a consumer "hibernation", Sberbank said.

Last week, from 12 to 18 October, Russians' consumer spending dropped significantly again - by 2.8% compared to last year.
Citizens began to spend more often on food and medicine and less interested in services and services, as was the case in April-May, when the country had a ‘non-working days’ regime, experts said.
