Moscow authorities eased some of the restrictions on COVID-19

27.01.2021

On 27 January 2021, Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, signed Decree 5-УМ removing some of the restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic in Moscow.

As of January 27, 2021:

1. The requirement to transfer at least 30% of employees to remote work is no longer mandatory and becomes of recommendatory nature. The decision to return workers to their offices or keep them working remotely is left to heads of companies and organizations.

2. Restrictions on night work (from 23.00 to 6.00) for restaurants, nightclubs, bars, discos, karaoke, bowling and other recreation and entertainment venues are also canceled. At the same time, these establishments still must comply with the safety requirements established by Rospotrebnadzor, more particularly with regard to seating of visitors.
