New algorithm for foreign nationals coming to Russia for business trips and investment projects was approved

We would like to inform you that following the decision of the Operational Staff as of May 14, 2021, a new algorithm of entering Russia for foreign nationals coming for business trips and involved in negotiations and implementation of investment projects  (in accordance with item 32 of the Government Decree N 1291-r "On amendments to acts of the Government of the Russian Federation") was approved (hereinafter - the Algorithm).

As per this Algorithm, all request for entry permits must be addressed to the highest official of the federal subject (e.g. Head or President of Republic, Governor, Mayor) in whose jurisdiction the organization is. From there the processed and duly approved applications will be forwarded to the Ministry of Economic Development for further approval by the Ministry of the Interior, Federal Security Service and uploading into the Integrated Portal for Public Services. Further on, the entry lists will be generated, uploaded to the EPGU system, and transmitted to all Russian border checkpoints and the Ministry of the Interior.
