QR code after coronavirus vaccination in Russia will be valid for a year

Russian Ministry of Health has updated temporary methodological recommendations about vaccination against coronavirus.

Part of the provisions touched on QR codes, which citizens receive after vaccination. The department has explained that they are valid for one year, but may be reduced to six months in case of worsening epidemic situation. For Russians who have had a negative PCR test, the QR code is valid for 72 hours. For those who have had the disease, the code will be valid for six months.
