Rosaviatsia prolongs a ban on international flights until 1 August

02.07.2020

The Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) extended the restriction on international flights due to the coronavirus pandemic until August 1. A telegram sent to airports (quoted by RBC) reports on the extension of the ban on foreign citizens to enter Russia.

"Until 23:59 local time on 31.07.2020, there is a temporary restriction on entry into the Russian Federation of foreign citizens and people without citizenship," RBC quotes the text of the telegram.

The agency issues such telegrams on a monthly basis after the suspension of international air traffic in March, Sources said. A new telegram will be sent when the decision on the opening of international air services is taken.
