Rospotrebnadzor issued a letter clarifying foreign travelers' obligations upon arrival in Russia

The Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare reports that, as of 15 July 2020, the isolation of persons arriving in the territory of the Russian Federation by regular flights from countries with which it is planned to resume air traffic is abolished for 14 days.

In accordance with the decree, all foreign nationals arriving in the Russian Federation by scheduled flights:
- submit information about the negative result of the study of the material on COVID-19 using the PCR method, selected not earlier than three calendar days before arrival to the territory of the Russian Federation;
- in the absence of a medical document confirming a negative result of the laboratory examination, are required to undergo a laboratory examination in the Russian Federation using the PCR method within three calendar days;
- on board the aircraft, complete the questionnaire in English or Russian in the attached form;
- may not be allowed on board the aircraft without a medical document confirming a negative PCR test result on COVID-19 (by decision of the carrier airline).

Rospotrebnadzor asks to pay attention that the isolation of persons arriving and coming from foreign countries by "export" flights remains in force in accordance with the decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation from 30.03.2020 ¹ 9 "On additional measures to prevent the spread of COVID-2019". A set of preventive measures is being organized for this category of persons".
