Rospotrebnadzor published recommendations regulating the work of hotels

On June 1, 2020 Rospotrebnadzor published on its website the recommendations on prevention of coronavirus infection in hotels and other places for temporary accommodation.

In particular, the document says about the need to install dispensers with an antiseptic for hand washing, about ensuring a stock of detergents, about disinfection of all contact surfaces, about measuring the temperature of the body of personnel. Employees will be required to wear masks and gloves.

The recommendations are the following:

- If possible, implement mobile applications for express occupancy/eviction;

- accept payments by contactless means;

- measure the temperature of guests upon check-in and at least once a day after:

- accommodate guests in single or family rooms;

- notify customers of the need for room airing every two hours;

- minimize the use of decorative pillows and bedspreads;

- to control the social distance. When catering, the distance between tables should be at least two meters.

The Office also recommends general cleaning before the hotel starts.
