Russia resumes air traffic with Spain, Slovakia, Iraq, Kenya, and lifts all restrictions on air communication with Belarus

Russia resumes air traffic with Spain, Slovakia, Iraq, and Kenya, the Government of the Russian Federation reported on September 13, 2021 referring to the COVID-19 Operational Staff decision.

Starting September 21, 2021 Russia will resume on a reciprocity basis regular flights with the countries mentioned above on the following routes:
Iraq, on the route Moscow - Baghdad with a frequency of 2 flights per week; 
Kenya, on the route Moscow-Nairobi with a frequency of 2 flights per week;
Slovakia, on the route Moscow - Bratislava with a frequency of 4 flights a week, and St. Petersburg - Bratislava with a frequency of 2 flights a week;
Spain, on the routes Moscow-Madrid and Moscow-Barcelona with a frequency of 4 flights a week on each route; on the routes Moscow-Malaga and Moscow-Alicante with a frequency of 2 flights a week on each route.

In addition, on September 21, 2021 Russia lifts all restrictions on air communication with Belarus. Thus, bilateral air traffic, temporarily restricted due to the spread of the coronavirus, will be fully restored, the COVID-19 Operational Staff announced.
 
It was also decided to increase, from 21 September, 2021 the number of regular flights with the following countries:
Egypt
Hungary
Kazakhstan
Qatar
