Sergey Sobyanin toughened restrictions due to coronavirus proliferation in Moscow

On April 18, 2020, The mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobjanin signed the Decree No. 45-УМ "On amendments to Moscow Mayor's Decree of 11 April 2020 № 43-УМ" on prolongation of the restricting measures in Moscow due to coronavirus prolifiration till May, 1st . The majority of enterprises will not work in the city throughout April. The mandatory use of digital passes is also preserved.

According to the mayor's decree, several rules have been introduced, which will come into force on April 22. There are some of them:

1. Only "Troika" and "Strelka" cards, a monthly single ticket, as well as social cards of a Moscow citizen and resident of the Moscow region (hereinafter referred to as electronic cards) can be used in public transport. 

2. To control compliance with the permit regime when traveling by car will be involved in photovideofixation cameras of traffic violations and road patrol service of the State Automobile Inspectorate. 

3. A new type of digital pass is being introduced - for volunteering activities.

4. Military personnel, law enforcement officers and other holders of state certificates are not required to obtain digital passes.

5. The validity of digital passes does not extend to the area of road freight transport.

6. The temporary restrictions imposed on April 13 this year are extended until May 1, 2020.

7.  The programme to provide free medicines to Moscow citizens undergoing treatment at home is being expanded. Along with patients with COVID-19 or suspected coronavirus, citizens with ODS will receive free medical treatment.
