The latest WHO data shows a record increase in COVID-19 incidence

The number of new cases of coronavirus infection is returning to record levels, as evidenced by data regularly published by the World Health Organization (WHO).

According to Kommersant Austria and the Czech Republic have already announced the beginning of the second wave. Israel was the first country in the world to return stringent quarantine measures, including closing all businesses except vital ones and restricting walks. As leaders elsewhere seek to avoid a new lockdown, UN experts are calling for systemic changes that will effectively counteract epidemics.
