HR-Subcommittee

The AEB Southern Regional Committee is the first of the AEB regional committees to come into existence and has been fully operational since 2003. Currently, it unites leading foreign investors and international banks, which have affiliates operating in the Krasnodar, Stavropol, Rostov-on-Don regions and Adygei republic. The Committee activities are aimed at solving problems connected with the development of international companies in the region, creation of favourable conditions for the development of a mutually beneficial cooperation and interaction with the regional authorities.

Constructive dialog and mutually beneficial cooperation are the basic principles for productive relations between the AEB South regional committee and regional government bodies.

The Committee takes an active part in key events associated with investment opportunities – forums, exhibitions in the region. The Committee also realises its goals by playing an active part in different unions and working groups of Southern Federal District, Krasnodar regional and the local authorities. The Committee likewise organises conferences, round tables and seminars that address concrete issues in today’s economy and promote business development.

The Committee is managed by the Steering Group. The Annual General Meeting took place in February 2020. Oleg Zharko, Chairman of the Southern Regional Committee spoke about the results of the Committee's work in 2018-2019. 

The members of the Southern Regional Committee elected by secret voting the following representatives to the Coordination Group of the Committee (Steering Group):

  • Oleg Zharko, Danone.


At the first meeting of the Steering Group Oleg Zharko was elected as a Chairman of the Southern Regional Committee. His deputies became Ralph Bendisch and Lubov Popova. The meeting was followed by a strategic meeting of the newly elected members of the group and the AEB top-management. At the meeting they discussed the development plans of the AEB Southern Regional Committee and outlined a number of priority steps.
